Panel speakers, Charmaine and Jane from AECES, will address issues that parents face when reading with young children. They will share their personal experiences with young children and answer pertinent questions with regard to home literacy practices. With the belief that children are made readers on the laps of their caregivers, Charmaine and Jane will discuss how daily routines help promote emergent literacy skills and offer practical ideas for developing the lifelong love of reading with children at home. This discussion will be moderated by Dr Christine Chen, founder and current president of AECES. All families will get to walk away with a free book bag worth over $30. There will also be fun activities by Preschool Market for the young ones!
