Moving on to Secondary school can be a daunting process, with new and challenging elements to grapple with for each subject. As an MOE-trained tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, including a two year stint at The Learning Lab, I would like to bridge that transition process.
My programme will offer your child a first-hand exposure to the components of the Secondary English syllabus, along with the basic techniques required to excel in them. It will also emphasise the importance in staying abreast with current affairs, which is a much needed requirement for essay writing and orals.
The course will run for 7 lessons, starting at any time in Nov and Dec. Of course, such skills cannot be mastered overnight. If your child is comfortable with my teaching, he is encouraged to continue regular lessons with the rest of my secondary students to hone his skills and knowledge.
