As the name of the restaurant suggests, this place serves buffet steamboat.

Unlike other cheaper versions of the same namesake, this place has definitely fresh ingredients and quality food.

To start off, you can request for anyone to help you with preparing for the steam boat. The waiteresses there would recommend you to prepare a 4 flavoured sauce. The 4 flavors consists of:
1. Red-cut chilli and ginger in soy sauce,
2. Thai style chilli sauce,
3. Sesame oil,
4. Peanut sauce.

Mixing the 4 sauces together gives a very unique taste which complements the steamboat.

Next, the recommended beverage would be the '8 Treasures' Tea, which can be served either hot or cold. Take the hot one and you would see waiters and waitresses refilling your cup with a kettle with a very long and thin 'neck'. It is highly recommended that you take the tea as it helps you to remove the 'heatiness' caused by eating steamboat, not to mention the 'Ma La' soup.

The steamboat has 3 choices of soup bases. Namely, the 'Ma La' soup base, the chicken broth soup base, and a 'Sze Chuan' soup base. The chicken soup base is extremely delicious and for those who are more adventurous, the 'Ma La' soup base provides a very 'spicy' challenge.

The ingredients are all prepared meticulously such that each ingredient would take the shortest amount of time to cook it. This means that meat ingredients are served in thin slices. But as it is a buffet, it does not matter if you order for example, 50 plates of sliced beef.

Before you start with the steamboat, you would be served some appetizers in the form of dumplings and fried dumplings. Those are free and included in the buffet but only one serving is available per pax.

In between the meal, you would be served desserts, also one serving per pax, to help in aleviating the effects caused by the 'Ma La' soup. The fried 'man tou' with an accompanying dip of condensed milk is extremely delicious.

With the cost in consideration, it is definitely value for money and it is strongly recommended that you try this restaurant at least once.
