My one week old gal has been tearing out of one eye only. She would have tears coming out of her left eye whether she is crying or not. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

both my son have this problem. due to blocked tear gland.
PD suggest massage near nose area (between the eyes). it gets better as bb grower older (shd be gone by 6-12 mths)

u may check with ur PD if u r worried

baby's tear glands at birth are not fully functional - takes time to get it to work (but when it works ur heart hurts and u want them to stop) my girl's right eye tear gland started producing tears when she was about 2 weeks old but the left eye did not. do some eye massage near the tear glands to stimulate it - her left eye started producing tears only when she was 6 weeks old
