very itchy belly during pregnancy

hi all mummies,


i am currently on my 24th week pregnancy and is suffering from itchness on my belly, especially the sides.

bought bio oil, tried organic strechmark creams as well as baby oil but doesnt seems to work.

now my belly is so red and developed rashes like patches and sometimes its so itchy i cannot sleep at night.

anyone have the same problem before? how do you solve this?

another question, anyone know where i can buy organic cream or gel like aloe vera gel?

The itchiness could be the effect from stretching. Bio-oil works very well to prevent stretch marks. I tried it too when I had belly itchiness too and it didn't work too. Then I used Johnson's baby lotion and it worked wonders! Hope the aloe vera worked well for you!

thx all for the reply. End up i have to visit a skin specialist and was prescribed with mild steriod and special moisturizer. My case was polymorphic eruption of pregnancy and the rashes appears everywhere on my body
