Wat u put on for make up??

The one I'm using is from the States. They're famous there & is a pioneer in mineral makeup. Unfortunately can't get this brand in SG but I bought enough to last me for over a year & if I need more I'll get my hubby to buy for me when he goes that direction

Initially it's quite an investment coz need to buy everything. Even brush need to buy. Now easier coz separates are reasonably cheap. Sorry I can't tell u if ex or not coz I can't remember liao.

I find mineral makeup gives me a very radiant glow without oily or heavy cakey feeling. It's very natural looking & even my normally ignorant hubby say my face looks unmade yet flawless. It's makeup you can sleep in! I use to put it on every day but since getting pregnant even washing my face is an effort. haha!

Now alot of brands in Sg start selling mineral makeup. I found this website u might want to read.

if go out for a short while, somewhere nearby, then i'll go w/o makeup. hahaha...

if go orchard walk walk w hb n son, then eyeliners so i wont look tired.

if wedding dinners, then foundation, eyeliners, lipgloss n blusher.

eyeshadows, depend on mood n dressing. only learnt how to apply that months ago.

as for the brands, foundation is biotherm. the rest consist of various cheap brands. hehehe... my makeup stuff can usu last me quite long 'cause seldom use.

normally i jus put eyeliner and a lip gloss tat all...
as i find tat the most important part is eyes

i hav to agree!! that's y i put on fake lashes!!

i'm not some2 that is very interested in makeup but time tells everything & i hav 2 work on it now esp given birth -- somhw look older

i'm still learning to doll up

right now mi only knows how to put on foundation, blusher & lipstick

trying to draw pretty & darker eyeline!! also, mi not used to put eye shadow too.

any recommendations on where to learn basic make up??

Ya kinda dont feel like putting on much make-up while pregnant.. Nowadays I seldom put on much make-up when I go out. More hardworking on skincare, masking and stuff.

I think sometimes, Singaporean ladies under-makeup when going to work! Hahah! Seriously!

I use the following: -

MAC Studiofix (using face brush all over - good coverage)
Dabs of concealer (I use YSL Touche Eclat)
Eyeliner (but of course! A must to open the eyes! I use Chanel kohl pencil)
MAC Blusher
Mascara (Maybelline's Volume Express for day & XXL Intense Volume for night)
MAC lipsticks (I mix a few colors to set it to my mood)
MAC eyeshadow (mostly neutral browns/greens for day and darker for night)
And a light brush on my eyebrows

Hmm.. U can get some eyelashes from Belle and Iggy.. LOL.

Can still put eyeliner, but dun too thick, thinner ones make ur eyes look more "jing sheng" :tlaugh:
