We love Japanese, dating years goin Liang Court bt now more practical, economical n more family-manner so GENKI or Sakae :Dancing_tongue:; my son is mesmerized by the rotating plates :Dancing_tongue:

Deserts for sweet-toothers like us, strongly recommended:
Opera & choc souffles - Bakerzin
Brownies - Dome ---> is da best!! not too sweet, nice & yummy

Anywhere with smoked salmon or salmon sashimi.:Dancing_tongue:

Tonkichi at suntec is nice for their tonkatsu, Kushinbo for their snow crab!
 
Marutama Ramen (Japanese cuisine) at Central

Au Petit Salut (French cuisine) at Harding Road - try the weekday set lunch but need to book way in advance.

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao (Shanghainese cuisine) at Great World City

Food Haven (local and international food) at Singapore Poly Staff Centre (cheap & good).

Japanese i go for suki sushi coz the buffet more worth it n better than sakae n a jap place i cant rmb the restaurant name but it located @ TBP 3rd flr where they serve really spicy ramen

Western i like fish n co, jack's place n Cafe cartel

Chinese i like Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao
Hi, which suki sushi did u go? here used to hav 1 at lot 1 but moved after renovation -- yup i prefer their sushi variety too!!

In the topic of fav restaurants.. anyone got any good dim sum places to recommend?
there is a dimsum eatery at Chinatown, between mosque street corner and temple street, now in the midst of the chinatown CNY pasar malam....called "FATTY WING", i went with hubby + me + my boy, we order lots of dimsum, (we are big eaters) final bill only $38+ includes tax and sc.....cheap leh i tot. And its yummy and restaurant standard kind, 2nd storey got seats oso.
