We have been visiting our gd friends in their Malaysia hometown a couple of times and they have been superb hosts, free lodging and esp delicious food! They will be coming tomorrow till next Monday/Tuesday.. This time, we really wish to have very good hosts..

Dear daddies & mommies, pls share:
1. Where to bring them for good food and need to burn a hole in our pockets.. :shyxxx:
2. Places of interest or any good place to go and have fun.. Sentosa?

It's a family of 4.. 2 adults and a 6yo girl and a 2yo boy..

Really thanks in advance!! :tlaugh:

think depends on that friend. HB's oversea friend like nature so we took him to Sungui Boloh Reserve Park and Ubin .... feed mosquitoes. He's a vegetarian so no meat restaurants lor.

My expat colleagues liked Holland area shopping, makan. They also liked Sentosa. Geylang is a good place to hunt food - c those TV makan shows alot i Geylang, East Coast

Try Melben at Ang Mo Kio that served very good butter crabs, crab bee hoon soup and alot of other superb dishes.

Go to Changi Village Market for nice food too. And also there is a nice bak ku teh there owned by ex-prisoners or addicts who have turned over a new leaf and living a clean life.

Also Geyland has alot of nice food, can eat frog leg porridge, etc.

Boon Lay Market also has nice nasi lemak and fried hokkien noodles.

JW also has a good soup stall selling many types of double boil soups.
