Which brand of Maternity Pad ?

Some mummies recomend Pureen & Kotex..My friend say got nice ones from Mothercare & Kiddy Palace too..But I will also be using the normal overnight pads like Kams said. Longer =)

Actually I'm thinking of using the normal pad but heard that aft birth mense flow amount will be more then normal mense so Most probably cant hold for normal pad, dont know is it true?

Tats true but depend on individual.
Like me, during my 1st, the blood was scary and last 1 whole mth... but tis time was not as much and only last 2 weeks

Hi Joei,

I feel tat my normal mense is not less so my aft birth might be alot bah.. As this is my 1st time so I not sure really wat to use.

I think it really depends on individual.
Pureen is a lot cheaper than Kotex.
Mine kinda stop after 2 weeks or just a couple drops of blood.

I'm going to deliver at Mt A. But I heard most hospital will give u those like Kotex Loop which mean tried by string instead of stick-on pad.

i used pureen pad. my fren gave de cos she C sect so nv use haha.. i still have 1/2 a pack left from last yr labour.. actually kotex or pureen is the same not much diff.. But i find them very thick which is gd for 1st few days to 1 week. Hospi will give u 1 pack kotex which is not enuff so bring extra standby. Actually i left 1/2 a pack cos my menses actually stop after 4 days haha... I oso duno y.

My 1st labour menses was 3week plus, 2nd 4days, tis time duno how many days haha

How come c sect never use? If c sect then mense wont come?

i not sure leh... mayb flow not heavy compare to natural birth so she nv use.. i rmb after csect my fren stayed in her in law place for 2 week cos was near to hosp as baby was 2mth premie mayb she bought another pack to use i oso dunno.. So she gave me the whole day untouched *shrugs*

mt a also give kotex loop. i bought sofy extra long but did not use it.
kind of like the kotex loop. although is thick, but is soft.
no need to tie one. Just put onto ur panties can already. It won't move around one. Maybe cos its thick.
the price is also so so much cheaper than those adhesive one.

yea agree.. but my flow not alot.. after 2 days so after dat i use back normal 1

I go for Pureen, thick and wide. Kotex Loop is not wide, easily stain lor.
Flow is heavy during 1-2 days, so 1 pack of Pureen is enough. After that use the normal pads. :)

ya but kotex loop is provide so just use finish it lor.. in fact 2nd day i use finish le lor the whole pack.. cos everytime i go toilet i change the pads don care full or not.. more hygenie and comfort heehee.

ya pureen 1 pack more than enuff le..

Yes, I am a Nite Owl. I use 2 pads each time lor... Afraid it will stain, especially when there are visitors flowing in within hours of my delivery...Kekeke

lol.. ya i oso use 2 pad each time and change everytime i visit toilet.. tat y 1 day or max 2 days i finish whole pack in hosp haha
