for PULL UPs, we've tried Nepia, Pampers, Huggies, mamypoko.

i personally prefer Pampers, mamypoko and Huggies. Nepia's pull up CMI, sometimes will leak less tan 2 hrs! pamper is good but abit too ex so we using Huggies. will buy bk mamypoko also as the absorbing is as good as huggies. =)

Before cloth-diapering full-time, we tried Mamy Poko, quite fine.

After getting the hang of cloth-diapering, we use the cloth diapers outdoors too. Just need to bring along a wetbag in the diaper bag. May use disposable liner if concerned about poo. :)

as I am almost fully on cloth diaper, so i can save more on disaposables.... and also my boy is a bit fat fat... he is currently around 7 kg now?? should i buy L size or M size?? for mamypoko???

I tried M dry pants before, its juz nice... so i wonder whether to buy M or L... thinking of buying big pack, since now NTUC offer $24.25 only.... I scared buy M can last a while only.... as 1 pack can ask me for maybe 2 mths or more????

any advise?

We bought Mamy Poko Pull Up as backup for cloth diapers during travels. My boy is also chubby with fat thighs, 9kg at 6 months and we bought M. After 6 months, growth rate is very slow, so M can fit quite a while.

The crouch area of Mamy Poko Pull Up is very baggy, which I don't really like. If L, it could be even more baggy. A loose diaper could also be prone to leaking when baby squirms about.

By the way, for travels now, we use disposable inserts for cloth diaper covers. Less chemical than conventional disposable diapers, good for sensitive skin. View our review at Semi-Cloth Diapering During Travel (Flip One-Size Disposable Inserts) | These can be back ups for normal cloth inserts. :)

They can be laid on TOP of the pocket diaper or a diaper cover.
This allows the pocket diaper / cover to be reused during travelling.
Therefore in 1 day, need only about 2-3 covers to rotate, unless soiled.

Ideally, the diaper cover should have a short rise or one-size with adjustable rise. This helps to keep the insert snugly in place.
