Bought a US$25 prepaid SIM card during my US trip, came with 250 mins of talk time. I added $5 for 50mb of data as well..
I probably only used 30 mins talktime and 20mb in total.
if you are travelling to US anytime soon I can pass it to u for $10, so u can just pop it into yr phone immediately after u land.
Btw, sms from this SIM to a sin phone is unlimited and free (yes free)
