Hi.. I can't seems to find any thread on Dilated Cisterna Magna (Cyst) so would like to find out if any expecting mummies have this condition and what does ur gyn say about this condition
My wife went for her 20weeks detailed scan today and a 10.7mm Dilated Cisterna Magna (Cyst) was found in our unborn child's brain... We were totally distorted when the brain specialist told us that the size is 2 times bigger than a normal cyst and that this cyst may or may not affect the child's brain development... We were even given an option by our gyn whether or not to keep the baby...
Anyway we are not considering an abortion.. the child is already formed and there is a chance for him to be a normal child.. I tried googling but can't seems to find much on this condition.. Hope someone here can share something.. tks...
