share recipe kuih bakar u, senang tak nak buat ?

very easy to do... the only recipe i loike for kuih bakar... hehe...

150 gm labu kuning
450 gm keledek
3 biji telur (dipukul)
200 gm gula pasir
½ biji kelapa (diambil santan) - Han use 1 santan kotak je.. the small ones..

150 gm tepung serba guna
60 gm tepung beras
3 camca besar minyak sapi
Garam


Rebus labu kuning dan keledek di dalam periuk berasingan. Lecek kedua-duanya hingga lumat. Kacau labu bersama keledek lecek, telur, gula pasir, pati santan, tepung beras, tepung serbaguna, minyak sapi dan garam didalam acuan bulat ukuran 22 cm yang telah dilengserkan dengan sedikit minyak. Bakar ia pada suhu 200 darjah Celcius dengan api di atas dan di bawah hingga ia masak. Biar ia sejuk sebelum dipotong.

ur boss reply yahoo kan sebab dier tau dier ngan H akan makan besar nari kat umah.. ahahha.. makan sedap2.. nasib baik H ada kat umah.. kalau hubby ko ada Han.. aku rasa tak sampai lah kuih tu atas meja.. ahahha
klu hubby ku ada... penat ku blom hilang kuih bakar da bis nye... that his fav kuih...

jangan sakit perut sudah... wakakkka, agaknya kalau yg belum bakar dah sedap, apalagi yang dah bakar.... mesti POWER!!! jaga itu ur dear princess, jangan sampai licin dia habiskan... nanti kempunan plak u... wakakakaka
hahaha... itu puteri sudah in lala land... tadi da ptg sikit for me to rasa... nie klu duduk2 tgk hindustan kan 3 jam... sure abis nye seloyang tu... wakakakka...

seriously i tak tahu kuih bakar ada use labu n keledek. Tahu makan jek....:) Banyak jugak bahan dia eh...hmmm

this is the asam laksa recipe...

Ingredients:
1 lb Mackerel fish
8 cups water
5 pieces assam keping (peeled tamarind)
1 pack dried laksa noodles
Spice Paste:
12 dried red chilies (seeded)
5 fresh red chilies (seeded)
8 small shallots
2 teaspoons belacan
1 stalk lemon grass (use only the white part, about 6 inches)
Tamarind Juice:
Tamarind (about golf ball size)
1/2 cup water (repeat 3-4 times)
Seasonings:
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon fish sauce
Garnishing:
1 cucumber (julienned)
1 bunch mint leaves (use only the leaves)
1 bunch polygonum leaves/Vietnamese mint leaves (daun kesom/daun laksa)
1 bungan kantan (cut into small pieces)
1 red onion (sliced thinly)
1 lettuce (thinly cut)
1 red chili/3-4 bird’s eye chilies (cut into small slices)
1 small pineapple (cut into short strips)
Condiment:
Heh Ko/Prawn Paste
Method:
Clean the fish, remove scales and guts. In a pot, bring 8 cups of water to boil. Add in the fish and boil for about 10 minutes. Transfer the cooked fish out into a bowl and let cool. Strain the fish stock, then add in the peeled tamarind, and the polygonum leaves and continue to boil in low heat.
Wet your hands constantly with a bowl of water, pick the flesh out of all the fish and discard the bones. Break the fish meat into tiny pieces and put the fish back into the stock, cover the lid, and lower the heat.
Using a mini food processor, grind the spice paste until fine. Heat up a wok and saute the spice paste with cooking oil for about 6-8 minutes or until it smells aromatic and spicy. Transfer the spice paste into the boiling stock.
Extract the tamarind juice and add it into the stock. Strain the tamarind juice and keep the seed. Repeat it 3-4 times with 1/2 cup of water each time to make sure you extract all the essence from the tamarind. Continue to taste your Assam Laksa stock to make sure it’s sour and to your liking. For seasoning, add sugar, salt, and fish sauce.
Prepare the laksa noodles by following the packaging instructions. In a serving bowl, add in the laksa noodles and garnish all vegetables on top. Pour the Assam Laksa soup into the bowl and serve immediately with a spoonful of Heh Ko/prawn paste.

nie kuih bakar kelabu.... kuih bakar ada mcm2... but Han slalu buat yg ini... even my mum pun she do this one masa jualan dulu...

KELABU...yg i pernah c are the green n yellow one. Kelabu tak pernah plak...rasa dia sama like green n yellow type ke ?

KELABU...yg i pernah c are the green n yellow one. Kelabu tak pernah plak...rasa dia sama like green n yellow type ke ?
klu keledek n labu cmpur colour nye yellow2 orange gitu.... wahahahha... ntah eh... i tak pernah rasa the green one... yg yellow u rasa tu i think kuih bakar kelabu tak?

heheh... aah mmg leceh.. part the ikan tu yg leceh... nak kena rebus then kopek isi nye.. nak sedap lagi blend the isi ikan.. jus for the fish je mcm2 method... that why Han klu nak masak laksa Han ask my mum to cook it... hahahahaha.... manyak leceh noh... tapi today Han yg masak... hehehe....

MEMANG ari ni i punya kesabaran betulnya kena challenge. Ari ni betulnya asksen 'MAK TIRI' Cinderella. Daripada teacher skolah n my dua heroes nih....memang nak kena. Dah dorang kena grounded today NO SOCCER time @ 5pm later. Sorang bujang dahh 2 kali tak update diary on what is for hw. Ni dahh nak mula ah step-by-step. If i don't act now, very soon, dia TERlupa hw and who knows copy plak frens work. I know masak2 budak2 sch nya perangai.

Lagi sorang plak, tadi i ada waiting berpeluh2 for him...parents yang lain smua satu-satu dahh get lost from the sch area with their kids. Rupanya, si dekni sorang with kawan2 main main satu corner...LET ME WAIT long long like that. Tak pernah dia buat, ni pertama kali dia buat. Kalau tak kena HEKKK ngan I, for sure ada kali entah ke brapa.

Email complain sudah ku 'terbangkan' just 5 mins ago.
hahaha.. budak2 nie.. on a cooling day mcm nari dier kasi mak dier melenting.. hahaha.. da teacher pon kena.. dorang ingat hujan2 nie.. weather sejuk mak dorang takkan melenting.. aahh kan kan .. hahaha.. sabar enflor.. da kids nie kekadang dier nak test water.. selagi tak test dorang tak tau kan.. nie dah tau kan.. insha Allah tak buat lagik ah..
i wanna wait for tomorrow.. apa the teacher nyer reaction.. hehehe.. can't wait..

lupa.. balik tanya mak lagik.. buat dier senang cuma i lupa part nak masak the gula mcm mana.. heheh.. nanti malam insha Allah i post ok madam..

Kuih bakar KELABU...i think it is not the colour tau. itz actually KELedek + LABU...tu sbb jadi KELABU. Pelik plak dengar kuih bakar2 nih colour grey kan, unless dia almost nak hangus kot :)

smalam me go jb wif hubby.. balik plak kol 1.. wen we reach umah bayu dah bangun dgr kita bobal n den he start to cry n cry.. susah nak tido.. so ummi n ayah dier tak cukup tidor nari.. i think he saw something lah.. coz we put him to sleep kat luar.. so bila kita bukak jer pintu dier dah tersadar.. maybe he nampak something kat luar pintu.. haiz.. dah betol nyer tak tahan i bacakan yasiin den he sleep n trus i on jer surah yassin from my hp sampai pagi.. dier repeat jer..

Enflor.. teacher tu dah reply blom ur complaint???
sorry semalam tak sempat tanya my MIL how she do the kuih keria.. nanti i ask ok..

Ana.. i suka ur shawl yg belang2 tu.. i nak beli ah.. u can email tak da gambar to me.. nowadays i jarang masuk fb... if can ah.. how much isit.. i nak cuba2 pakai da shawl... n da shawl i saw kain dier jenis tak panas nyer..

wat to do Ana.. sekarang suma mahal.. my house sana ada doc nie.. ubat dier mujarab for lil bayu.. i think baby nyer ubat tak mahal ah.. i pay hari tu abt $15 jer.. wif 2 small ubat.. hahah.. nie kalau dah besar.. habis lah poket kita kalau apa2 jadi.. tapi kalau dah sakit mesti nak kena jumpa doctor.. sekarang penyakit mcm2 n senang nak berjangkit..

u tinggal mana?? yishun memang lah murah pasar dier.. sama ngan ang mo kio n toa payoh.. old neighbourhood kan.. i suka gi pasar geylang.. tapi i tak suka kena selit2 ngan orang yg ramai kat dalam pasar.. rasa mcm satu badan dah kena raba gituk.. ahahahah.. slalu nyer my hubby yg akan jalan depan.. so i my space besar sikit nak jalan... "can i pass a way.." hahahhaa

Smlm,went back to mum place was treated like Princess by mum..My mum tolong cepit kan kuku kaki plus urut lagi..dah mcm kat spa nail...Plus put henna for me too...heheh..At tis stage i can bongkok to clip my nail,perut ne dah hadang..heheh...

Done with my book smlm while henna-ing my kuku2 tangan pulak bila balek dr mum place...Ne semua for this weekend,my cousin wedding..Anw,masak ape ekh nari??bingung btl lah...Smlm my mum uat kan rojak bandung,roti john & cili padi lemak ikan....Ne pikiran pulak...

btol2 tu.. pandai puan Enflor... mana ada kuih bakar colour grey? itu kuih bakar apa?
