hello, im going to Mt Alvernia cos my gynae only delivers either in Mt A or TMC.Dear all,
I am a first time mom and my edd is in August.
Would like some advice from experience mommies which hospital should i chose to deliver my baby

hi rellako, wat makes u choose Mt A over TMC? is it the things u've pointed out in ur post? anymore more good things abt Mt A? because i'm gg TMC to see doc, but my hubby recently told me his friends say Mt A is better and told him to switch... i haven't checked if my gynae delivers at Mt A too...

hello, i delivered my #1 at TMC and had some bad experience with their midwives and nurses. they are quite unfriendly, rough and fierce to both mummies and babies (well, thats in my opinion, maybe i suay lor.) hahahah
Oh I heard my friend saying that he only delivered at TMC.
oh =( i'm with him now and wanted to stick with him. i'll ask him when i go for my next appt, haven't paid for package yet. thanks for the info!
Be positive sometimes u can't get everything prefect. Heard that dr tham is a Gd gynae. So really depends on what matter most to u

My gynae delivers in both Mt A & TMC, I chose Mt A as there are more carpark lots, more accessible for my hubby & my visitors... TMC's carpark very miserable, muz wait damn long or they may help u to park at another carpark which is very very faraway where u gota take their shuttle bus to fetch ur car...
My first experience with Mt A was very good, nurses & lactation consultant were very helpful & approachable & friendly... The hospital ambience is good too... Will highly recommend Mt A..

the unexpected happened last week......i got some more bleeding n this time at the insistence of my hubby n parents i went to a gynae for check up.i called a few wich my cousin n sis-in-law recommended n since i thot its just a one time off thing check up to ensure all's ok before buying time to decide on a gynae in the longer term i went ahead with the first available one i can take.its a male gynae....so i thot ok just general check up to confirm im pregnant n baby is ok.so i went ahead....in his room gynae scan n confirm yea im pregnant...7 weeks pregnant hee hee ....n then scary news in calm voice i cant hear the heartbeat i must do another scan..n this means going underneath...there is no way i can say no so its like ok close eyes n go ahead.surprisingly its ok its not as scary or shy as i thoughti will be...then can hear baby's heartbeat im relieved
so ive decided my gynae..its this male guy at simei area..n i checked he handles deliveries at mt a,gleneagles etc so i might go for mt a afterall.now im a happy settled lady
