We are delighted to announce that our new Reggio Inspired Infant and Toddler Atelier has opened. The new atelier is located on the 2nd floor of the Big Blue House Building.
Our new programme offers the opportunity for children and adults to explore together, whilst enjoying the wonder of our new atelier space.
The 2000 sq ft atelier is equipped with furniture and light boxes that were designed and manufactured in Italy as a direct outcome of the children, spaces, relations research project (Reggio Children, Domus Academy, 1998), and are the result of ongoing collaboration between designers, architects and the world-renowned schools at Reggio Emilia.
It is important to note that we are not a soft play centre. The atelier is furnished with a combination of soft and hard furnishings, lending itself to exploration and discovery, similar to that of an interactive children's gallery and our own pre-school classrooms.
During our weekday sessions, we welcome children from 6-30 months and during our Saturday morning family sessions we invite children up to the age of 3 years old.
