I sometimes drink green tea when I feel 'heaty'. But green tea is like other teas.. they contain caffeine. Also saw in websites that green tea can affect the absorption of folic acid. So pregnant women should drink green tea in moderation.
I also had sore throat when I was in 1st trimester and I did some research on the Internet... found out that it is not proven that ingredients in strepsils are safe for preggies. So it's better to ask your doctor to prescribe lozenges or medicines that are safe for you.
