Hi all, I am 37+ weeks pregnant and and is tested strep B positive, my gynae mentioned that the index is rather high. I wanted to go for natural delivery initially but is now quite worried that the bacteria will spread to my baby. Asked my gynae whether I can opt for c-sect to minimise the risk...

Hi Susannanation, yes it is contraction. My menstrual cramp has been ongoing for the past 2 weeks before I went to consult my gynae. My gynae actually said that there is a possibility that I might be going into pre-term labour, therefore prescribed me with a medication to relax my uterus and...

Smilem, did you opt or did the doctor suggest you to go for c-sect? My baby has also turn head down and the doc has not mention anything abt the mode of delivery. I suppose he is pro-natural, just like most of the gynaes in KKH.

Neymo mummy, I love avocado milk shake too. But I try to ask for less sugary syrup as I am afraid of getting diabetes. I have tried formula milk-Similac Mum but I dun really like it, so I stick to fresh milk.

Thanks Ryca, I take black chicken soup once every month since my second trimester, but I have not try to boil it with coconut. It is something new to me. My husband forbids me from taking coconut now. Will probably try it once I have reached 37 weeks. :)

Hi Happymummy1994, I do eat a lot. Thus far, I have gained 13kg. Guess most of the weight has gone to me instead of my baby.

Dear cagnes and NeyMO for both your replies. I also comtemplate eating durians but can't as I just recovered from flu and sorethroat. cagnes mummy, yah, i think that lack of sleep might be a factor as well.
