hi jespang, i have the same worries as you, whether i can cope when my nanny leaves. i only just started bathing him today (he is 21 days old), luckily he didn't cry. Hope it will be like that everyday. My nanny didnt let me bathe him till now coz she sed he's too young and water enter his ears...

oh thats good! no probs with supply! my baby also got jaundice. so we left him in the hospital to tan for 24hrs. i was quite sad that i was discharged without him. :bsad:

yes! the papaya fish soup works! my bb has more than enough and is satisfied after every feed. I got a lactation consultant to come visit me. She was very good and such a relief for me. She cleared a duct that was blocked and helped me with the various positions of latching, among other things...

Congrats! Yup, yup, my stitches also hurt like crazy and uncomfy sitting down. it's exactly 2 wks now since i delivered and has stopped hurting only like abt 3 days ago. longer than i expected but oh well. i kept using the bottle of steriliser the hospital gave me, esp after pooping to disinfect...

i did try to drink water at first then both my mum and nanny say no need, just keep drinking the longan/red date water instead. and also i drink milk which i heard helps. i only have so much capacity for liquids! sigh...

Hi labies! looks like everyone is thinking of inducing. I wanted to induce also next wk if nothing happens (not becoz i can't stand the waiting but coz of my aging placenta). yeah it is definitely better coz heal faster, etc.. but i just like the idea of getting knocked out for an hr then see my baby as opposed to being in labour for like 20 hrs and having tears and episiotomies. sigh. right now, knowing that chance of natural labour is high, i have to practice...

have not experienced this but my gynae said the same thing. if i have 'the show' just wait for contractions which are regular like half an hr apart and check in to hospital
