Haha. No worries as I have been eating dessert everynight for the past 2 weeks. My husband and I have been eating cakes from hotels, restaurants and ice cream. Not the healthiest though.
I'm in my 38th week and experienced bloody 'show' last night but my gynae has mentioned that show is not indicative of labour so guess I have to wait for contractions to arrive. I have no idea how to 'push'. Is it similar to a bowel movement?
Last two weeks have been sweets. I eat butter biscuits, cakes and ice cream every night after dinner. Last night my husband and I went to Goodwood Park hotel to buy durian cake and lemon meringue tart after dinner. :P
Hi there,
My EDD is late March but I took maternity leave on feb 25, which was week 36 of pregnancy. A baby is considered full term at week 37 so I wanted to be prepared as I have lots of reading to catch up on. My job also requires me to stand quite a bit so wanted to rest. I'm already...
Hi there,
I heard that Drypers is pretty good as it's thin and hence 'breathable'. It's also one of the cheapest so I intend to try out my baby on that once she's out of my womb and monitor before buying Pampers for new born.
I got my eye on another aprica laura and definitely buying that. But I'm holding back as I am hoping that some kind family friend will get it for me. :P
I agree. I think the oil moisturises the belly area so it doesn't get itchy. I get itchy everywhere before I sleep so trying to apply body lotion to other parts diligently.
Ironically my diet became more unhealthy ever since I got pregnant. I hardly ate fried food and meat pre pregnancy but now like fried food, especially french fries and really enjoy eating steaks and pizzas.
I wish I could drink fresh milk but I am intolerant to milk proteins. Perhaps I will...
Yes, I started off average weight and read in books that I am supposed to gain between 25 to 35 pounds and have only gained 7 pounds so far at week 24. But every pregnancy is different so I will not stress out over this. Thanks for all the comments:)
Looks like quite a number of mummies to be are not gaining much weight. My gynae asked me what happened this time and she said that perhaps I will gain more weight the next time I see her. But that is in a month's time. I'm just worried about fetal development.
Hi all,
I went for my gynae visit this morning and found out that I only gained 600g this time round. A month ago, I gained around 1 plus kg. I also did some calculations and found that I gained 7 pounds so far for my pregnancy and it is low on the weight gain pregnancy chart.
Any mothers...
You can get it cheaper at acmamall.com. It's an online shopping mall that has free delivery. I'm currently using clarins oil and another organic blend that my friend gave to me.
Dear mommies,
I am delivering at NUH but just signed up for childbirth education classes at Thomson Medical Centre as I read so much positive feedback about TMC. Has anyone attended the classes at NUH? It's cheaper and more convenient for me to attend at NUH but it has 8 sessions.

I had eczema before pregnancy but started having eczema on my hands during pregnancy. I used to get it in the past and I'm expecting a girl. So don't think sex has anything to do with eczema.
It's good to do a blood test to find out what you are sensitive to. I found that that my body is...
I was advised by one gynae not to exercise and have sex during first trimester but my second gynae said that sex was allowed as long as I have no bleeding etc.
So I finally had sex on week 12. So far everything is fine. I'm not sure how I will be feeling during the 3rd trimester.
Hi there,
I'm so sorry to hear about this. Sometimes a miscarriage is nature's way of telling you that the embryo is not healthy or progressing to plan so a miscarriage happens.
I'm sure you would prefer a healthy baby as opposed to one that has problems. So take heart! It's extremely...
