I don't expect anything from my child(ren).. be it financially, emotionally or educationally and so on.. let her be who she/he is.. purse the dream he/she has.. raise & provide them well and don't expect anything in return.. love them unconditionally eventhough there's a chance they might not...

yes, we don't have a car and our condo is bought by my hubby's parents.. so no mortgage or anything.. and both our parents always rejects whenever we try to give them allowance.. they feel kinda insulted.. so, we only spend on what we really need (maid, food, maintenance).. we download movies...

I let my in-laws know how much me & hubby are earnings.. they're happy for us & tell us to work hard & save for our daughter's future.. fortunately, my parents & in-laws never demand any money from their children.. their goal is to provide their children as much as possible & not be a burden...
