my mum and sis-in-law told me to get the red yeast one for eating. supposedly helps repel wind, promote blood reproduction and restore body constitution. My sis-in-law got hers from an aunty call Aunty Ling and I got mine from her too. Very fragrant and sweet. :)

Hi siewz, I'm haven't really researched it myself, but a quick google told me the red yeast can help stimulate blood reproduction (good for us since we lose a lot of blood during labour), restore constitution, and promote general well-being. My sis-in-law claims it helps to reduce cholesterol too.

My sis in law took 20 bottles and still eating after a yr of her delivery. But I've friends who only took 2 or 3 bottles. Think it's up to individual preferences in the end.
