We checked with my daughter's pedi who is part of the Kinder clinic group and has a clinic at Eastshore.
His feedback was that if the babies are premature, the gynae would inform him and he will be on hand...

would like to check if any mother gave birth to a preemie in a private hospital and transferred the baby eventually to KK hospital?
Was it because the private hospitals lack the more comprehensive facilities that KK has, or was it more a cost issue?

I'm currently 11 weeks only. The only reason why I'm checking out about pedis and all is because I'm deciding if I should stick with my previous gynae who delivered my girl or move to KK.
My previous gynae only delivers in Parkway East. While I trust her skill, I'm not too sure...
