sore nipples

Hi mummies, I need advice .. My inlaws, masseuse and parents keep telling me my milk supply is low n to use formula as baby is constantly hungry n rooting . It's pretty disheartening to not have the support I need, but currently baby is 7 days old and always hungry ! Could they be right ? Baby...
