24 hr PD clinics anywhere?

Does anyone know of any good PD clinic (not GP or KKH) that opens 24hr? Noticed that most PD opens for short hours and usually super crowded.

I dont't think there are 24hr pediatrician clinics here. There is a pediatrician near my place that opens latest until 9pm on certain days only.

The pediatrician that I take my son to does not open in the evenings, only morning and afternoon.

there's only KKH A&E. been there 3 times over 3 days last week - of which 2 visits were made within 12 hours... they should offer a 'Friends of the A&E' card... :p

how come u go there 3 x over 3 days? I find KKH doctors not so experienced. had similar experience like yours. that's why I want an alternative. seems like there is no 24hrs PD clinics around. those PDs around my place only open short hours (e.g. 3pm) and when I come back from work to bring my bb to a clinic, they are already closed or not taking in walk-ins. Very frustrating.

my daughter's fever shot up to almost 40 degrees in the middle of the night. we bundled the two of them to KKH. and then waiting for tests so asked my husband to bring the boy back. when i got home at 5am, my son was very excited that we were back. and then he got upset that i asked him to return to his room to sleep and turned and ran and tripped and fell and fell flat on his nose against the bed side table... so we went back to KKH... the 3rd time was when the fever came back 3 days later and was hitting 40 degrees again...

there is a mix of registrars and seniors in the A&E. the good thing is if the registrars are not too sure, they will consult the seniors and get them to talk to the parents. what gives me a sense of security is that there are child specialists around all the time and it is a hospital fully equipped for children. if there is a need to follow up at the specialists clinics, the A&E would be able to do that too :)

Tks for sharing your experiences. Yes, whilst I do agree with you that KKH has all the facilities, sometimes I feel if it is minor condition, a PD clinic is good enough. However, as I said, the clinic is either closed or not taking in walk-ins after office hours and I have to specially bring my girl all the way to KKH. Cheers.
