A new branded or 2nd hand branded bag?

Hi Mummys, I want to get a branded bag. But I dont know I should go for a brand new bag or get a second hang bag. Since I am a mother of new born.
I have to be cautious with my money.

What do you all suggest?

If you ask me, I prefer a brand new bag. Nothing beats a brand new bag bought right out from the boutique. No question about its authenticity. I will only consider a 2nd hand if the design I wanted is out of the season and I can no longer get it from the boutique. Even so, I worry about authencity, so will ask about serial number etc. Then I sent it to the The Bag Spa for professional cleaning as I do not know where the bag has been while with the previous owner. After all the hassle plus cost of cleaning, I decided that one 2nd hand bag is more than enough. I will not go for it again.
