While before I didn't really like the idea of abortion, I realise that there are cases when the procedure is necessary (example is if the pregnancy is at the cost of the mother's life or maybe if the foetus has a serious chromosomal abnormality). We're privileged here in SG that abortion services are legal and accessible. I can't imagine in other countries where the norm is to go to backstreet abortion doctors or just go through a very risky pregnancy. But of course, to each his own opinion. I find that when it comes to issues like abortion, it's better to be open-minded and just be more aware of the procedure so you can better weigh its pros and cons. I learned more about the procedure abortioninfo(.)com(.) as Dr Ben Choey is also my gynae. Reading about the topic keeps us well-informed to make educated decisions about our bodies.
