baby glaucoma

dear all,

like to seek advised or information about other people out there for their baby will glaucoma.

my newborn baby was born with baby glaucoma and have go throught a few surgery already.

any advised is much apperciated.

i see..i am sorry i dont know anyone personally in ur same situation.Hope ur baby gets well after surgery.Dont lose hope !

my gal was thought to have glaucoma at birth. But turned out to be hazy corneas that slowly clears. I guess you have to use Timabak to control the glaucoma now? how is she responding since the surgery?

hi there,
my gal went 3 times surgery already 1 implants of each side of the eye and 1 laser on the right eye.
the left temp ok *touchwood the right eye after implant the presure go down but went up again 1 week later so the right eye go for laser surgery....and we continue to use the eye drop 5 diff kind 4 times a day...

the feeling of seeing my baby sufffer...no words can descripe.

the right eye the conear is very hazy..the doc had dobut it will clear on its own need to have conear transplant IF the glucoma can be control......

You can also contact the vision teacher here in Singapore at thetinyseed@hotmail.com. She is currently the only trained teacher of children with visual impairments here in Singapore, and specialises in all ages, from birth to young adults.
