whenever i give my ds barley water, he'll poo after 1 or 2hrs. Both my dh n i find it too much of a coincidence coz everytime he'll poo after i give barley water. So i'm wondering if he's allergic to barley?
Today I passed by EYS after work. Bought a pack of china barley.
Out of curiosity, asked the lady boss abt the difference.
She told me that the western barley can cause phlegm, more cooling and taste nicer.
And that china barley which is commonly used for children, is a better choice. It helps to rid body heat through passing out urine.
Heard frm my mum also the western barley is actually knw as pearl barely usually use for cooling desert and china barley usually for cooking soup/porridge.
