highlight...wat colour is nice???

hi mummies,

I'm thinking of highlighting my hair again as last year when I did it for e 1st time, i was so scared that it will b too much and might not suit me, so I chose a very mild reddish highlight indeed. So mild that it wasnt much contrast to my hair haiz... so nw, im bolder and decide to highlight maybe sumtin with golds... any color of highlight to recommend??
I'm so clueless about the colours of highlights.. oh ya, i would like it to be streaks... not the whole hair..
