Hi,

You say to not learn grammar rules as it is the 'wrong method'. May I point out that there are quite a number of grammatical errors in your post, that immediately indicate a standard of English that is not ideal?

Ok, here is my polished up version of your post (disregarding my utter disagreement with the sentiment expressed against grammar-based instruction). My rectifications in bold:

Learn English Conversation Rule 1 : Do not learn English (comma dropped) word by word. It should be learnt Phrase by Phrase. Then, picking up this language and using it correctly is very effortless.

Learn English Conversation Rule 2 : Do not learn Grammar Rules… (space after ellipsis) this is the wrong method of learning English.

Rule 3 : Learn English by listening.
Most babies start speaking after 2 but they have been listening for the past 2 years. If they have been listening to Singlish or improper English (changed because original phrasing suggested the existence of "improper Singlish", a strange concept), this has compromised the quality of their education. (if you really want to use shortchanged, drop the hyphen, and say, "they will have been shortchanged in terms of their command of English".)

Still think I learnt my English with the "wrong methods"? :p
