Menses came 2 weeks after the last one.. normal?

Hi,

Would like to check with all mummies... to give some advice.

After giving birth & stopped breastfeeding, my menses returned to normal coming every month but just today (afte 6mths) it suddenly came, only about 2 weeks after the last one... Is this normal or is it something I should be concern about? I am abit worried cos I've never experienced this abnormal pattern of flow... Pls advise...

Hi it usually takes a while for your period to be regular again once you've stopped breastfeeding. For me, after I gave birth and had my lochia, I had my first period despite BFing exclusively and since then it's been regular.

Different women may have different experiences.

But if you have any abnormal bleeding, feel pain, it's good to see a doctor.
