Minimize Facial/Body hair

got any ideas? they say taking birth control pills will minimize and Lessen your body hair.. is that true? is it even safe?:err:

Waxing helps. The hair that grows back is finer and retards growth a bit.

Birth control pills? Never heard that it helps. I took them last time for my face - to get a clearer complexion & lessen the oil. I didn't find any lessening of hair though.
