SINGAPORE, 1st Dec 2011: With the local launch of Blanc Wok (Blanc纳米陶瓷鑊), an innovative series of eco-friendly nano-ceramic cookware, the cooking experience has just become cleaner, safer and more hygienic.

Blanc boasts an innovative process using Korean nano-ceramic technology to produce its easy-clean surface that is safe for cooking over a varied temperature range. This is nothing like the traditionally dark and non-stick cookware most of us have in our kitchens. Blanc co-founder and nano-ceramic pioneer Justin Hung explains: “Such cookware uses Polytetrafluoroetylene (PTFE). Research has shown that these surfaces are highly toxic and carcinogenic under excessive overheating, so it has been deliberately dyed dark as a concealment of its own problem.”
In contrast, Blanc’s “nano-ceramic” cookware is all about building up a better concept of food safety and hygiene. Justin adds: “Our philosophy is one of ‘Healthy Cooking begins with Safe Cookware’. That’s why our cookware is not only made from eco-friendly, nano-ceramic materials, it’s also white so that it doesn’t mask dirt.”

Blanc’s white cookware upholds the five unique DNAs:

W Well-being
H Hygiene
I Identity
T Time-saving
E Eco-friendly

Blanc is also co-founded by Hong Kong television pioneer Robert Chua, who is also founder and CEO of Hong Kong’s pioneering Health & Lifestyle Channel (HLC), an interactive television program available on cable TV and the Internet. He is an active proponent to bring health alternatives to the public via his communication channels. Robert says: “Blanc white cookware ensures the cooking will retain the nutrition in your food to keep you in good health.”

Celebrity chefs and professionals around the world have robustly tested Blanc cookware, with many of them giving two-thumbs-up to the innovative cookware. (Please see brochure attached for more comments from celebrities/renowned chefs)

To celebrate the brand’s Singapore launch, Blanc is offering incredibly low introductory prices for local customers to try out the products. Blanc cookware is retailing at special rates from $53 (Usual Price: $75) onwards.

Looks pretty :) is it easy to maintain? since it is white, will frequent frying cause it to turn yellow or something?
