Second Appointment with doctor at KKH

Hi, this will be my second visit to the doctor this week.
On my first visit, I had a ultrasound scan on my baby and also some bloodtests for my and my hubby. However, nothing much from the doctor, who barely answered any of my qns.

What qns should I ask and what answers can I expect from the doctor for this visit?


Anyway, I have been experiencing bad backaches, headaches, lower abdomen pain for the past few weeks.

I am currently 13 weeks and have just entered the second trimester.

Hi, I guess the questions tat u should ask would b all those problems tat ur nw having...and hw to prevent them or is there any thing tat u should look out for...follow yr gut feelings...juz ask anything tat bothers u...leave the clinic only after yr questions have ALL BEEN ANSWERED & ur clear of everything...tats wad the doc r there for...Pray for a smooth pregnancy!!

i have gone through what you had. headache caused by hormonal changes are common. but should not be too long over a period, most probably once yr body get used, it will be less often. if really painful, ask doctor for panadol, or else, just bear with it and stay relax.

backaches will get worst because of the baby weight getting heavier. try to sleep sideway on yr left, or use pillows to adjust sleeping position.

lower adominal pain > my gynae told me the pain is caused by muscle stretching as our tummy are getting bigger and bigger, i will feel this cramp. but also, it will go off.

unless for yr cases it become too serious, seek help.

just ask questions what is on your mind. every visit u will sure have questions to ask de. Thats what i did and like what Charlene12 said, leave the place when u have yr questions answered. When my SIL is preg, they did not ask questions to gynae and what gynae did, they never ask what is that for too... then come back and ask me & my husband... i cannot answered to most of her questions, she should be asking professional.

We asked about our lower abdomen pain and backache...
However, she just told us this is normal....

She used some device to check the baby's heartbeat. Other than that, she subscribed a new multivitamin ganilia (comprises both multi-vitamin and fish oil).

Our next appointment is month 5's big scan...

Btw, we havent got a specialist yet.. Next month, intend to get one. Is there a site, where I can see the list of Obs in KKH.
