Squid

Hi mummies,

Can anyone pls enlighten me, if this white lump of thing which is found in the body of the squid when cleaning (not the bone) cook-able?
As i remembered that my aunt used to cook it with the squid.

I saw my mum cook before and she threw it away. It look so gross to me but squid is 1 of my favourite.
