i know abt e sleepless nites.. cumer risau pasal si sha2 takle adapt bb cries at nite jer..

ts very frustratin when u want somethin but doesnt goes yr way.. n ther's nothin u can do abt it~ sigh... uuuurrrrggggghhhhhhh~~~~!!!

aktuali kn..klau ur bb ade phlegm..not necessary tok tukar susu pe..for ma son's case..klau die ade phlegm,i kasi die drink lots of plain water..most importantly,u JANGAN kasi die air madu or wintermelon..juz plain water will do..it helps..jgn kasi die air sejok..ol he's drink beta b in warm state..

juz 2 cents advise from me..e2 pon klau u find it helpful..

hihi lis ... the tukar susu is upon recommendation of the doc. she thinks my boy's phlegm is from milk allergy. nope i don't give him madu at all. i try not to give him sweet things nanti aper2 sikit2 nak manis. i feed him lots of water + apple juice like every feed 40ml air musti telan dulu. then afternoon, 1 special feed of 100ml juice + water only. i have to do this otherwise dia sembelit.

& my bb by nature paling fav air / susu suam - laju 100km/h!

For me plak, kalau bb that age has lots of phlegm, kurangkan milk powder. Make it more diluted for the time being till his condition improves. Water only sikit2 bila dia dah habis susu kasikan. Just to clean his tongue je. Keep him away from direct fan.

Best c your pd. Takut kalau melarat...batuk too much not good for his lungs. WeeFee check if Raheel makes wheezing sound. If the wheezing continues, just get him to the doc. My eldest son two yrs ago, severe phlegm case and cough, X-ray result showed a tiny dark patch on his lungs. Indication of early stages of pnuemonia. Panic sih! Turun naik turun naik hospital...until doc confirmed he was cleared of it.

lizz, these last few days pegi relax kan your body and mind my dear. Give yourself a good food treat ke, massage your upper body or head etc. Jangan tension babe!

i'm not really keen to dilute the milk fm since a doctor i saw confirmed that diluting milk powder results in loss of nutrients. apparently whatever these manufacturers instruct i.e. how many scoops to how much water, is just the right proportion for the nutrients bb need for his organs & growth.

Raheel's last doc visit was for *sedut* hehehe ... dr yang & yap @ bedok - anybody been?? dorang specialists in suction for babies. what they do first is vaporise (is that the right word?) bb's nose, then bila hingus dah loosen, poke a very thin plastic tube down bb's nose & sedut!

that day the by-product ok-ok lah ... tak ler sebanyak yang i expect alhamdullilah.


wow enflor i can imagine how you feel!!! alhamdullilah detect early! anyway tom morning going back to dr yap to request switch back to cow's milk sebab since he's been on soy ... na'uzubillah every feed satu jam!!


i started feeding him rice cereal in the chair with a spoon just now @ 8.30pm sebab dia mati2 takmoh minum soy. what an experience!!! maner tangan dia melayang, maner mulot dia kluarkan cereal balik, maner cereal tumpah on the bib ... both my hb & i kept laughing becos we knew there will be MANY MANY MORE of this in the MANY MORE MONTHS to come!!!!

sal hb masak.. mine? haiz... kalo masak roti telor, WOW! eXPert.. kalo yg lain... haiz... jgn harap lak.. but i prefer if he dun cook la... da abis masak, he jus wash hands to everyting.. i lak yg kena pick up d mess.. sigh....

lizz.. muz enjoy last few days b4 beranak babe... i dulu Luv my preggy time.. kalo boleh, nk preggy... but still takut la nk go thru labour... biar berat bawak kehulur kehilir.... kekekeke

WF.. u da give ur bb cereal? i tadi pi doc kena blast sei when i say i give my son cereal... he advises tat 6mth aru boleh.. i told him my bb my suka la.. when he hungry n cryin, bkn doc yg kena jaga... aku jugak.. :nah:
its nt tat i disagree w him though.. i told him depends on kids la... lawan lagi ckp doc.. hehe

hi fitri! sorry to hear abt your boy - keep a good eye on him okay. the last time my bb fever i took it for granted that it's skejap ajer becos the one before that was very mild ... so i didn't even bother to take his temp. skali his fever lasted 24 hrs lah!! menyesal tak terhingga.

sesuka hati jek doktor nak marah kita ek? kirakan kita bayar consultancy fee untuk dimarah lah?? i used to go to a PD ard my area - p ris baby & child clinic. MENYAMPAH siak dengan tuh doctor. he's quite young @ most mid 30s. tapi kalau mood macam siak, that's it he'll be very impatient & sarcastic.

there was once i brought my bb & was asking abt his constipation. so he recommend give bb heinz apple + prune for 6mths. at that time my bb was barely 2 mths old tau. anyway i already tried it & bb don't like - think masam sangat, so i conveyed to the doc.

wanna know what he did?? he put on the most irritated face & said "haiyahhhh i don't understand parents ... give baby something for awhile baby don want only give up!"

i was like .. "hello?? that juice is meant for 6 MONTH OLDS ANYWAY? MY BABY'S ONLY TWO MONTHS??"

crap doctor!


but i must admit he put my bb's poo back on track ah. eheheh .. but sometimes need to put our own foot down lah. we know our babies best after all. i think very soft semi solid foods from 4 mths on is okay ... as long as introduce slooooooooowly

And this Abby, she is no Hillary Clinton. Dua kali hb dia buat hal, terus she white flag kat hb dia. Siapa sih boleh tahan....kalau I am in her position, itu kuali, periuk semua dah buat boomerang kat kepala hb.

Norman sepatutnya ditembak dengan senapang gajah esp kat kawasan anu tu, biar dia confirm erectile disfunctional.

i think i heard abt it over the radio or someone talking abt it ... is it the wife turun location where he was shooting & threw a b*tchfit bcos she found out abt the husband's affair? & that time she masih dalam hari (barely one month)?

I was wondering if i could get some advice from this thread?

You know how we eat a lot of jamu after we bersalin? Do you all think that the jamu actually affect the supply of breastmilk? Coz i know the jamu is panas, and i am scared that it will affect my b/m supply. I had a lot of supply issues with my first and the 2nd one is due in 2 weeks. I kalau boleh really want to b/feed this 2nd one.

For me, i avoided it totally coz i listened to my gynae's advice. Only had ubat periuk. Of course, our folks will say, 'dulu-dulu minum takda apa2 pun.'

Actually, whatever you consume, will affect the quality of your milk. If you want to bf then i suggest you make do w/o jamu for the moment. You may have them on a later stage.
