Think this is probably too late? I find that my 3 month old is especially interested in the simplest toys - squeaky toys (like sophie the giraffe), rattles, not so much picture/flash cards and books, unfortuately... He's not so interested in the fancy fisher price ones that do loads of stuff... :(
