    toddler's fear of hair cut

Hi all, it's time for my son's hair cut again. The last time he went to the salon, he cried and screamed for at least 10 minutes non stop! He is approximately 15 months old. Any idea on how I can make the hair cut more pleasant? Should I get a hair shaver instead?

    Weaning Breastmilk

My supply used to be really good. For every hour that I did not pump, I can pump 50ml. But of course, now I count myself lucky if I can get 240ml after 8 hours. I stored a lot of milk in the chest freezer during my maternity and school holidays to make up for the shortfall. Another option...

    Weaning Breastmilk

I am also a working mum and have bf my son for nearly 14 months. I also went through this phase whereby I was really tired and wanted to give up. However, I realise that as my baby gets older, I can just extend the time interval that I express my milk. In fact, I can do it with 8 hrs...

    Is a breastfeeding pillow neccessary?

    How to bring out EBM?

It gets easier to latch on as the baby gets older. You can practice by going to malls with plenty of nursing rooms. I used to bring ebm n pump out together.. was too troublesome after a while so I just let the baby latch on.

    No breast milk?! :(

For me, I pumped for approximately 20min every 3 hrs for the first 3 months. My baby was almost latching on exclusively then. After I realised it's making me very tired to do so much expressing, I stretched the timing from 3 hours gradually till 5-6 hours now that I'm back at work. My baby is...

    What's happening to my bb?!

For the first 3 months, my baby did that too. Latched on non stop. I would rely on watching HK drama so that time passes faster and it helps in reducing my stress too.

    pacifier - need or want?

Using a pacifier to put the baby to sleep helps to reduce the risks of SIDS. But try not to use it for the first few months if you're breastfeeding, might lead to nipple confusion.

    is there ...

Perhaps you should just let the baby latch on all she wants and continue pumping either before or after her feeds. For myself, I did that for EVERY feed for the first two months and I realised that all the pumping actually made me very tired and the milk supply went down instead. So after that...

    Opinions on diapers

Actually if you look at per piece of diaper, I think drypers is the cheapest. Can be as low as 18cents per pc while huggies is around 23cents. I used an excel spreadsheet to calculate when I buy the diapers online. :001_302: I'm using drypers for day and pampers active for night. Am also...

    questions on bf

i'm using pump in style advance. So far so good. Actually babies have stored fats to last them for the first few days so there is no need for formula. Do bring the breast pump with you into the hospital so that you can further stimulate your breasts to encourage the milk to come faster. I...
