    Sticky Baby

My ds is now having separation anxiety. As usual he will WAIL the moment I walk away. Sometimes I do carry him (but not 100%). These days things get tougher as this affects his daytime naps as well. Seeing him crying so badly I just carry him up from his playpen & hug him close. Playing peek a...

Disposable Diapers - Pls share your experiences

For daytime, I'm using Petpet for my ds whereas using Nepia/ MP during nightime. Finds that these 3 brands hold urine pretty well. MP's material is softer then Nepia's though. Had used before drypers, huggies, pampers active & intend to try pull ups once son starts to crawl.

    Sarong vs Playpen/BB cot

Initially when infant was borned, his head skull is still very soft & fragile. To prevent odd head shape, it's better to let your child sleep in the sarong (= moulding). Letting him sleep in the baby cot/ playpen is fine as well but the only thing is to prevent him from sleeping one side all the...

    Block nose/flu

U mean I wrote very "deep"? Don't get it isn't it??? The normal saline is like those eye drop sized bottled. Just squeeze it into the nostril will do everyday, be it 1 time etc. Get the picture? Otherwise for the first time, you can go to any GP clinic & buy from them. Anyway this is a very...

How KiaSu or KiaSee are you as a parent?

I think I'm worst off. At Singapore where tap water is consumable hence I'll let my boy drink boiled water instead. If letting him have the cleanest water in the world, perhaps he'll likely to fall ill easily whenever he drinks at other places. The moment a child starts to put things into his...

    Block nose/flu

Don't despair. You may like to try mine: Normal Saline. This product is used as eye drop for adult whereas can be used for infant's nose drop. Alot of GPs & PDs recommend this. Here's the merits: - not a medical product hence you can use this as many times as you like. - cheap (around $2...

    Is pacifier a must?

I had introduced to my boy since birth but he rejected. And now he is still doing fine. At your child's 10 mth, he must have alot of activities waiting for him to explore hence shorter nap rest I guess :tlaugh:

    Chinese Yam Porridge

To prevent our child from getting alot of 'wind' just add shallot into the rice. Once the rice is cooked, remove the shallot before serving :tlaugh:

What makes u decide to be a SAHM and any regrets?

I decided to be a SAHM so that I can personally experience what is really babycare after all. To me it's a total different feelings as compared to working mummies. Also, I do hope that through these, I'll be a better understanding MIL/ grandmother in future :Dancing_wub:
