Anyone knows what is 小米?
One day, there's this aunty who came up to me and my boy to tell me to feed him this. She said its very nutritious.

And what is millet? Anyone feeding? where to buy?

Thanks for answering my questions.

I gave my son millet but he didn't like.

You can buy millet from NTUC. It's usually at the section with all the rice

Millet is a kind of grain which is gluten-free so in that sense, it's similar to rice but more nutritious. It doesn't taste or smell nice on its own and you must cook it or use boiling hot water to get a creamy texture.

You can find it in the organic foods section - I buy mine organic and ground into flour already.

I usually mix some barley and fruit/veg purees with millet to mask the yucky taste; Eva will finish it anyway. :)

You know, I remembered reading the instructions to cook on the packaging for millet grains and it felt like a sweet dessert.

How do you cook it? what ingredients would you add?
