3months old bb not pooing

dear mummies..

need advise on my 3mths old bb gal..she havent been pooing for the last 10days!!!she's on total BM..drinking 160mls every 3-4hourly...before this,she poo once in every 4-5days..is it normal for BF baby to 'constipate'??brought her to doc,he say her tummy feels normal etc..he just inserted his pinky finger into her anus and abit of poo come out..my DD screamed in pain & very heartbreaking to see that..any mummies with same encounter?how to make her poo?thanks in advance

Its normal for babies on total bf not to poo for many days n its not constipate. Its just that her stomach is absorbing the nutrients so well that theres nothing to poo out. She is urinating as normal? U can call BMSG or LC at Mt A or TMC. I went for a course on bf at BMSG and the speaker said its very common for bb on total bf to not poo for as long as 30 days!
