6mth old baby suddenly reduce milk intake

Hi mummies,

My 6mo daughter suddenly reduce her milk intake over the past few days. All along she had been a small
drinker, her daily intake will approx 700ml. However these few days, her intake reduce to only abt 500ml. I'm quite worried as she was born quite petite in size. Have also not started her much on solids as I know they shld still have sufficient milk when taking solids.

Any mummies had similar experience or advise?

it met the growth spurt period, some babies tend to reduce but after sometime they will regain their appetite back with more intake.

as long as she is not feeling unwell, can play, active. i dont think it is worrying. they will feel hungry if their intake is lesser over sometime amd by then should be asking for milk.

i only encounter such incident with some other mummies also same case at around 3 month age

Hi mummies, thanks for ur replies. My girl is starting to get back her usual appetite. Probably is really the growth spurt since she is not teething yet. :))
