Activity for 9 months old

Hi Mommies,
Does anyone know if there's any infant care centre that accept 9 month old baby for 1-2 hour activity class? I have a maid who takes care of my boy but I think he's bored at home. He's my only child so doesn't have siblings to play with, my neighbor has a daughter but still too young to play. What kind of games can you play with a 9-month-old who's just learning to walk?

Hi,

You can bring your baby for baby gym classes, they are about 45 mins a session. However, you will need someone to accompany your baby. My baby is 9 months old now too. I read books to him, bought him a Fisher price activity table, bring him out for walks, etc.

My son is 10mth ... Aso my only child.. He will play his toy & toy Piano.. But nw he love to GO OUT .. He dun liek when i wan to read him book.. BTW i wonder hw much is the gym lesson..

You can call them up, for My Gym, the trial class is 40 plus. I think there is a free trial for JWT play gym for UOB credit card holders.

At 9 mth, my baby was

- crawling
- sucking on different teethers
- sitting up - playing with balls & slides, TRYING to take things in & out of containers, touching toys of different textures
(we throw different stuff into her playpen)
- TRYING to make animal sounds when reading books
- shaking her backside to a particular noisy tacky toy (gift from mom but she loves it!)
