Advice pls: Going to the states with a 6 month old baby

Dear mummies,
Need ur precious advice in travelling to USA with a 6 month old baby...what are the things which is utmost important to bring and not to forget and any thing to take note of? we are travelling next monday...18 hours on the plane!

My baby just recovered from HFMD and is total breastfeeding, started weaning not long.. what should i take note of? its a road trip so we be in the car most times too!

It's a must to have baby seat in a car. Do check with the car rental companies if they provide else you might get fined there.
