Is it true if we underwent csect , the blood discharge will be lesser? And how fast wld I know if I'm menstruating again??

I dont think so. Shld be the same as normal delivery.
But for your menstruation, depends on wether you're breastfeeding coz it will delay.

by blood discharge you mean menses?
my mom had regular period (flow and everything) after c-sect.

for menses to return my colleague says menstruation stops while you are breast feeding.
her menses return few months after she stopped breast feeding.

i just had a csect about 3.5 months back too! had spotting for a loooong time which occasionally increased slightly in volume and made me wonder if it was mensus returning! am on full breastfeed at the moment...

Blood discharge as in lochia after csect.. I recently gave birth by csect n found that my lochia is v little.. Unlike normal vaginal delivery, where lochia can be v v v heavy even up til a week or 2 n gradually lesser n last til a mth. During csect, they put me on a so called drainage bottle attached thru a tube and into my tummy .. The blood from tummy will be collected in the bottle... I also hrd from some that they too had little lochia after csect.
It's my first csect so I'm in doubt n clueless..
