Do what u should do and face the consequences. U dun hv to answer to anybody first but to urself. its ur life and ur decision. If u must tell the truth to ur mom and bro den lets get urself prepared for what its coming. Rather thn living ur life in the future full of lies and regrets might as well u make it clear as early as possible. In my opinion i think being a mom would appreciate their kids to tell the truth and probs they are facing though sometimes it might hurt but bear in mind that blood is thicker than water
