Amt of milk for baby

Dear mummies,

Need to seek advices.. My baby is 1 week old, we are already feeding her 80ml of formula milk per feed. But it seems like she is still not getting enough because after 1.5 hr, she will cry for more milk.

Can anyone advice me whether this is normal? How much milk should I give my baby at each stage?

What are the impacts to over feeding?

Can try to give her more milk, maybe try 90ml per feeding? Try a couple of days and if still not enough then try 10ml more... Don't add too much at once. Over feed might cause stomach aches.

I asked my pd before, he said just give. I said even after feed, after an hr she still want. Feed her again? He said yes.

my doc taught me a formula to.calculate.baby's feeds. if u feed 3hrly, u will give 8 feeds a day. so use current weight x150mls/kg/day divide by 8(no.of.feeds perday)

e.g.
4kgx150mls/8= 75MLS/FEED

but.this is juz a rough guide. hth
