As a Christian new mom, i face many challenges. It's not easy to bring my baby to church at the specific service times. I reckon it's also not easy to be in a regular cell group/care group where you're the only mom there too. It's so difficult to find time to serve in Ministry and even more tough to have some QT.
It would be nice to fellowship with other moms and share success/failures stories to encourage each other. Also for the babies to socialise (or whatever little they can do at this stage) with other babies, so they can learn sharing, patience, kindness and all the good values we wish to inculcate in their little minds.
So i was thinking, we can get together and form some sort of Christian playgroup. I don't know if there are any in Singapore, but it's quite big in other countries (or so Google says, haha).
For moms, we can attempt (i say 'attempt' because i suppose it's pretty ambitious) to do some Bible study, worship and prayer time? For the kids, maybe think along the lines of a playgroup, where they can interact with kids around their age. Possible activities include outings to the park, singing Christian songs, reading Bible stories, etc. If all else fails, we can still get together and go with the flow (haha, with kids, that's the only way to go!).
Suggestions are welcome. Non Christians are very much welcomed too. This is open to SAHMs mainly because of their schedule flexibility during the weekdays. And this is on weekdays!

Frequency: fortnightly
Babies age: 6-12 months
Let me know, if you're interested, i can attempt to coordinate something that works out. Even if your child is older or if you're not staying in the east, do leave a message here, who knows, you just might be able to hook up with another mom!
