Any good lactation consultants to recommend?

Hi Mommies,

Maybe we should share if there's any good lactation nurses (whether private or govt hospitals) to fellow mums?

Mine from KKH, Sam is a very dedicated nurse, would call and check on you after delivery and subsequently to see if you are coping well with breastfeeding.

Mine's also Doris Fok.. She's really good!!! Helped me identify my problems but of course, she's a little on the expensive side.

Yup, she's really experienced and patient. My problems were resolved after only 1 session with her.

i consulted Betty Lee. she does house calls and is really helpful. $100 per hour but she didn't charge me extra when she exceeded till 1.5 hours. she also gave me a nippleshield for free coz my baby was of low birthweight and had problems latching. she also didn't mind giving me advice over phone call and sms after my consultation. her no. is 98330170

Doris is Singapore's first LC so she's really experienced. She helped me with my 3rd baby and my problem was solved after meeting her once. She's worth every penny paid in my opinion. And she continues to help via sms or phone calls even after.
