Any tips that can cure cross eye for my baby?

We thought our baby was cross-eyed as well until we brought her for her PD's visit. PD checked and told us that she wasn't cross-eyed. Now baby is bigger and we can clearly tell that she is fine.

Get your baby checked and if he/she needs treatment, doc will advise when to start. I've seen kids wearing glasses that correct this condition (squint) and I understand that it is quite effective.

Cross-eye (or more commonly known as cock-eye) is a muscle problem ... as in the 4 muscles at each corner of the eyeball, which enables the eyeball to be able to be moved.

For young babies, it is possible that these muscles are NOT completely developed yet ... or for that matter, it could also be a case of the baby not knowing how to control 1 or 2 of those muscles yet. In due time, they'd learn how to ... or in the worst case, seek professional help in "teaching" the baby.

In the past, you may have come across cock-eye cases in young adults ... which really is due to one of the above-mentioned muscles being damaged. However, even this can be corrected via surgery.

In conclusion, I just wanna say the first thing you should do is go let your baby be seen by the PD ... let them decide if your baby even have a problem. Even if there is a problem, let them be the one to tell you what the problem really is ... & what options you have, to solve the problem.

Until you have done that, there is no point asking about anything here ... coz any suggestions of solutions from any one here may well be misdirected & I'm sure you dun wanna end up regretting doing something permanently damaging to your baby's eyes. Right?

Ya... just check with the PD, if not the eye specialist... usual case will be tat the child is young, thus eye muscle not developed.
Usually the kid 2 young, cannot tell.... or doc won't know if u never highlight any concerns.
We noticed our DD was occasionally cross-eyed (squint) last yr... so brought her to KKH eye centre. Was diagnosed with squint on 1 eye n mild astig (hereditary). Doc prescribed eye patching n glasses. So far seems better.
Our regular PD @ KKH didn't pick this up... cos' we only go once a yr for developmental assessment... neither the GP... cos' usually see GP when the kid is already down with other common sickness.
So always good to get a 2nd opinion if u have any concerns on the kid's health.
One sch of thought is to leave the squint alone as the kids will outgrow it when they're older. But from the medical reports I read, it's not the case.
